Shelby, a 33-year-old mother, was brutally beaten unconscious at the Rose Bowl during a Rüfüs Du Sol concert after an accidental drink spill. Despite Shelby and her fiancé Cain Webb apologizing immediately, the man later returned, screamed at them, and then punched Shelby in the face.
Shelby recalls nothing after that moment—she woke up an hour later in the medical tent, bleeding heavily from her face. Her attacker fled into the crowd.
This vicious assault, caught on camera, shows a complete failure of public safety at one of America’s most iconic venues. The Rose Bowl, its promoters, and local authorities must be held accountable.
We demand:
- Pasadena Police Department must make this case a top priority until the suspect is arrested and charged.
- Rose Bowl Stadium and its promoters must overhaul crowd safety and surveillance to protect concert-goers.
No one should go to a concert for joy and leave in an ambulance. Justice for Shelby is justice for all.
