Petitions remain active for 12 months and then close automatically. Don’t worry—when your petition is nearing its end date, we’ll email you with a quick link and instructions to reopen it.

Reopen from your account (any time)

1. Log in to your SignItNow account.
2. Click your avatar (top-right) → Profile.
3. Go to Started and open the petition you want to reopen.
4. Click Petition details (top-right menu) → Reopen petition.
5. Confirm to make it active again.

If you started the petition under an organization profile, open Profile → Organizations, choose the org, then open the petition there to find Reopen petition.

Reopen from the reminder email

When you get our closure reminder, click the Reopen link in the email and follow the prompt.
