What is the SignItNow Foundation membership?
It’s a voluntary monthly donation from our most committed supporters that helps keep SignItNow free and accessible for everyone. Members contribute a small amount each month so people everywhere can start petitions, rally supporters, and win change.
Where do donations go?
Donations are received by the SignItNow Foundation, a charitable organization that supports citizen-led social movements around the world. Your gift is unrestricted, meaning we use it where it’s needed most to provide tools, training, and support for campaigns on SignItNow.

How are funds used locally?
The Foundation doesn’t keep funds at a country level—they’re reinvested into local program work to support citizen-led campaigning (e.g., grassroots training, campaign coaching, media outreach, and technology).
What’s the Foundation’s impact model?
Technology matters, but people power drives change. Across diverse countries, the Foundation incubates and accelerates citizen-led, tech-enabled movements on critical issues. We are impact-driven and learning-oriented: wherever possible, our work is designed to be open and commons-based, creating shared value for the public good.
Why do you need donations?
As a mission-driven organization, we reinvest revenue into the platform and program work—so core tools stay free, fast, and secure. In Latin America and Asia (including the countries listed above), the Foundation is funded by a mix of small donations and philanthropy.
Can I change my monthly amount?
Yes. Go to Account → Settings → Contributions (or visithttps://www.signitnow.org/account/settings/contributions) and adjust your amount anytime.
Can I cancel my membership?
Absolutely. In Account → Settings → Contributions (orhttps://www.signitnow.org/account/settings/contributions), choose Stop donations.
