SignItNow is an open platform. Petitions and comments reflect the views of the people who create them—we don’t fact-check or endorse user content. Our job is to keep the platform a powerful vehicle for change and as safe as possible.
We don’t allow content that violates our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines (e.g., hate, harassment, illegal activity, explicit incitement to violence, spam). If you see a violation, please report it. If you simply disagree with an opinion, consider starting your own petition to present a counter-view.
Report a petition
You must be logged in.
- Open the petition.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Report a policy violation (beneath the comments/reasons section).
- Choose a category that best fits the issue.
- Describe exactly what’s wrong and where it appears (timestamps, quotes, links help).
- Submit.
Please send one clear report per issue; duplicates slow things down.

You must be logged in.
- Find the comment.
- Click Report next to the comment.
- Pick a category and add a specific reason.
- Submit.
What happens after you report
- A member of our team individually reviews each report in the order received.
- If content violates our policies, we take action—this can include a warning, content removal, feature restrictions, or account suspension.
- We may email you (and/or the creator) for more information if needed.
We cannot provide phone support, but we reply by email whenever follow-up is required.
Tips for effective reports
- Include links, screenshots, and specific sections (e.g., “3rd paragraph,” “image caption”).
- Tell us which guideline you believe is violated (e.g., harassment, hate speech, misinformation causing harm, spam).
- If the petition is misleading but not policy-violating, consider starting a counter-petition to present verified information and gather support.
