The Issue
Roblox is one of the largest online platforms for children and teens, with millions logging in daily to create, play, and connect. It should be a safe, creative space. Instead, under CEO David Baszucki’s leadership, Roblox has repeatedly failed to protect its youngest users.
Children are being exposed to predators, dangerous content, and exploitation. Reports pile up, but meaningful action is delayed or absent. Innocent users are punished by broken moderation systems, while abusers often remain. This is more than poor leadership — it is negligence.
Why David Baszucki Must Be Removed
As CEO, David Baszucki is ultimately responsible for the platform’s failures. Under his watch, Roblox has:
- Failed to act quickly against predators and abusers. Reports of exploitation are too often met with weeks-long delays, leaving children at risk.
- Allowed harmful content to thrive. Dangerous material circulates freely, while creators and players face wrongful bans from flawed automated moderation.
- Silenced whistleblowers and community members. Instead of listening to valid safety concerns, Roblox has punished users who speak out.
- Ignored public calls for reform. Even as lawsuits mount and criticism grows, Baszucki’s responses remain vague and corporate, with no real steps to improve safety.
The Demand
Roblox must prioritize children’s safety over corporate image. That begins with removing David Baszucki as CEO and appointing leadership that is committed to transparency, accountability, and the well-being of young users.
Children’s safety should never be compromised for profit. Roblox must change — and it must start at the top.
